Olio leads the program design and operations that bring SOLM to life. SOLM is an emerging nonprofit organization founded by Jahira Martins —deeply committed to cultivating regenerative hospitality by fostering education and inclusion rooted in community, land, and craft. The project is dedicated to strengthening rural programming; recently, we formed a partnership with local residents and the municipality to successfully reactivate the Centro Social in Calhau. In the wake of the devastating floods that struck in August 2025, our work extended to disaster relief, positioning SOLM to provide mutual aid support. Among these efforts was our collaboration with Nelson and Respiro to restore Terracota, an iconic ceramics studio in the heart of Mindelo.
